Robins v Arrows 06/09/14

For their ever game as a team Paulton Rovers Netball Club’s brand spanking new squad Arrows traveled to Bruton in the September sunshine to take on Robins.

Arrows started  the match with a fantastic positive attitude. Pip and Kyla started at GA and GS respectively Arrows managed to gain two goals in the first quarter, thanks to help from Lucie starting at WA her fantastic passing enabled the team to work hard together.

Even though the goals were building up for Robins, every member of Arrows held a positive attitude throughout the second quarter. Arrows gained another goal making the half time score 39-4.

 The third quarter saw Gemma B and Gemma K switch positions to WD and C respectively. Gemma K made some great interceptions. Amy and Zoe switched in defence, both showing great defensive aptitude  Also Lucie moved to GS to provide fresh shooting arms in the Arrows attacking circle.
The final quarter saw the gap in goals increase, with the  final win of 74-6 to Robins. Despite the score line Arrows showed skill of passing,  good interceptions and all of the shooters showed great skills. The team ended with their heads held high and their positive attitude still intact. The team are now eagerly anticipating their next match.
